Bojjannakonda is associated with the Sankaram Buddhist heritage area in present Anakapalli district; Salihundam lies farther northeast in Srikakulam district. The AP tourism Buddhist circuit lists both, but they are different locations. Older Visakhapatnam-region brochures can use the pre-split district name for Bojjannakonda. Resolve the present district by the actual site location, not by the brochure publication date. Salihundam should be paired with the Srikakulam side of the north coast rather than the Krishna basin.
An MCQ may mix Buddhist names with Arasavalli or Srikurmam, both Srikakulam religious sites of other traditions. Same district does not mean same faith or monument type. Classify each: Salihundam—Buddhist remains; Arasavalli—Surya temple; Srikurmam—Vishnu's Kurma association. A route can connect all three for visitors while their heritage meanings stay distinct. Avoid assuming that every named “konda” is a Buddhist site; the Telugu word refers to a hill.
Worked example: Bojjannakonda, Sankaram and Salihundam can be mixed because all belong to the north-coastal Buddhist set. Write a two-column card with site name and nearest town or coastal stretch. Check whether Sankaram and Bojjannakonda appear as linked names in the source. A current district question needs the newer administrative map; the older Buddhist brochure may use pre-reorganisation districts.
Active recall: Which northern Buddhist site is in Srikakulam? Which is in the Anakapalli setting?
