NEW DELHI, August 2 — The Staff Selection Commission activated the application status and exam city intimation links for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026 Tier-1 exam on its regional websites on Sunday.

Candidates can check their exam date, shift timings, and city details by logging into their respective regional portals (like SSC NR, SR, CR, WR, and ER) using their registration number and date of birth. The detailed admit card with the name of the exam centre will be available for download four days before the scheduled test date.

The CGL Tier-1 computer-based exam is scheduled to run throughout August and September 2026 across multiple centres. The exam will test candidates on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section carries 50 marks, with 0.50 negative marking for incorrect answers.

Candidates are advised to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with two recent passport-size photographs and a valid government photo ID card (such as an Aadhaar Card or Voter ID) showing the same date of birth as filled in the application form.
