Born in 1925, Satish Gujral was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian honour, in 1999 for his contributions to art and architecture. He was known for his diverse works spanning painting, sculpture, and the architectural design of the Belgian Embassy in New Delhi.
