NEW DELHI, August 5 — India Post released a ₹5 commemorative postage stamp in New Delhi on Wednesday to mark the birth centenary of renowned artist, sculptor, and architect Satish Gujral.

Born in 1925, Satish Gujral was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian honour, in 1999 for his contributions to art and architecture. He was known for his diverse works spanning painting, sculpture, and the architectural design of the Belgian Embassy in New Delhi.

Government officials and family members attended the unveiling ceremony, emphasizing his role in shaping modern Indian art and documenting historic events through his work.
