AMARAVATI, October 4 — The Government of Andhra Pradesh, in active collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), concluded high-level preparatory reviews for the flagship "CII Partnership Summit 2026", scheduled to be hosted in Visakhapatnam on November 12–13.
As part of the structured curtain-raiser campaign, the State Government will convene five regional Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) investor conclaves across Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Kurnool, and Anantapur. The initiative focuses on channelling targeted industrial investments into designated manufacturing nodes, upgrading rural industrial clusters, and generating skilled technical employment opportunities across rayalaseema and coastal regions.
Industries and Commerce Department officials affirmed that the international summit will showcase plug-and-play port-led manufacturing ecosystems, green hydrogen hubs, and pharmaceutical corridors to global investors.
State industrial infrastructure initiatives, regional economic planning, and MSME policy frameworks are crucial syllabus topics for APPSC Group-I, Group-II, and regional competitive tests. Candidates should note that Visakhapatnam serves as Andhra Pradesh’s primary maritime trade hub and major industrial growth centre.
