CHANDIGARH, October 4 — The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has officially notified the written examination schedule for the recruitment of 620 posts of Clerk, Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator, and Senior Assistant across administrative departments in the Government of Punjab.
According to the board's public notification, the OMR-based offline screening test will take place on November 29, 2026 at designated centers across major district headquarters in Punjab. The exam pattern features 120 multiple-choice questions covering General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Mental Ability, Punjabi Language, English, and Information Technology. A minimum qualifying mark of 40% is mandatory to advance to the bilingual (Punjabi and English) computer typing test.
Admit cards with venue allocations will be released five days before the exam date. A negative marking penalty of 0.25 marks per incorrect response will apply. Selected candidates will be placed into Pay Matrix Level 2 and Level 5 corresponding to their respective cadre appointments.
