RANCHI, October 4 — MECON Limited, a premier public sector enterprise under the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Steel, has notified 145 executive engineering vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE) and Assistant Engineer (AE) cadres across its major project locations in India and overseas.
The notified disciplines include Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Metallurgical Engineering. Eligible candidates holding a regular degree or diploma in relevant branches of engineering from AICTE-approved institutions can submit applications through the career portal from October 4 until October 31, 2026. The selection process involves a computer-based online screening test followed by a technical assessment and personal interview.
Assistant Engineers will be onboarded in the executive scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 (Grade E-1), while Junior Engineers will be inducted in the scale of ₹30,000–₹1,20,000, along with industrial dearness allowance, company-leased accommodation or HRA, and medical coverage benefits.
