NEW DELHI, September 15 — The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the official schedule for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026 Tier-1 examination, which will be conducted from September 30 to October 30, 2026.
The computer-based test will be held across multiple shifts in cities nationwide. Admission certificates and city intimation slips will be released progressively on regional SSC websites 10 to 14 days prior to candidate-specific exam dates.
Tier-1 evaluates candidates in General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
SSC CGL is India's premier graduate-level competitive exam for Group B and C posts in central ministries. Candidates are advised to check official portal notices and carry valid identity proof along with admit cards.
