Andhra Pradesh has five power utilities that recruit their own staff: APGENCO for generation, APTRANSCO for transmission, and three distribution companies, APSPDCL, APEPDCL and APCPDCL. Aspirants search for them under many labels, such as Junior Lineman, Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator, Assistant Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer, and then discover that the posts are advertised at different times, by different offices, with very different selection methods. This guide separates what is happening from what is only rumoured. It is written as on October 2026 and uses the official notifications that we could open.

The summary is short. The one large, verified recruitment of 2026 is for Assistant Executive Engineers, advertised by all five utilities together on 25 June 2026, with a common computer-based test that has already been held. We could not verify any open notification for Junior Lineman or for Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator. A state minister was reported on 6 October 2026 as saying that steps for vacant lineman posts would follow the engineer recruitment, without giving a number or a date. The rest of this article explains each of these in detail, so that you know what to prepare, when, and what to ignore.

The position as on October 2026

Post Status as on October 2026 Source type
Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE), Electrical, Civil, Telecom (discoms and APTRANSCO) and Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Civil (APGENCO) Applications ran from 30.06.2026 to 20.07.2026; computer-based test held; score lists published; certificate verification and allotment stage Official notifications and utility home pages
Junior Lineman (Energy Assistant) No open notification verified Minister's statement reported in a newspaper on 6 October 2026
Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator No notification verified at any of the five utilities Searches of official pages and news
Junior Engineer (Telecom and IT) at APEPDCL Examination held on 22 June 2025; final key and results shown as published APEPDCL careers page
APGENCO Director (Finance and Commercial) Notification dated 21.09.2026 with a closing date of 12.10.2026; a board-level post, not an entry route APGENCO recruitment page

Two points need emphasis. First, the AEE application window is closed, so no one can apply to it now. Second, an alert on the APSPDCL careers page says that no notifications are being issued for office attendants or any other posts at present, and that genuine notifications appear only in leading newspapers and on the company's website. That alert is a reminder that fake "lineman" or "office attendant" offers circulate widely. Check the issuing website before you act, and never pay anyone for a job.

The five utilities in one minute

APGENCO is the generating company. Its notification describes it as the largest power generating company of Andhra Pradesh, with an installed capacity of 6,389 MW, made up of 4,210 MW thermal (65.89 per cent), 1,773.6 MW hydro (27.76 per cent) and 405.4 MW solar (6.35 per cent), and says it contributed 40.43 per cent of the state's energy requirement during the financial year 2025-26. APTRANSCO carries power over the transmission network. The distribution companies deliver it to homes, farms and industries. The APSPDCL notification says that company serves nine districts. We did not open official pages that state the district coverage of APEPDCL and APCPDCL, so we do not list them.

Why does this matter for an aspirant? Because a Junior Lineman works for a distribution company, while a thermal power plant engineer works for APGENCO, and a substation engineer works for APTRANSCO. The posting you will get depends on the company and the zone, not only on the post name. In the 2026 AEE recruitment the candidate ranked preferences for companies and zones, and the allotment followed merit and those preferences.

The AEE recruitment of June 2026

The notification and the vacancy figures

APGENCO issued Notification No. 01/CGM (Adm, IS&ERP)/2026 dated 25.06.2026 for direct recruitment to Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil). APSPDCL issued its own Notification No. 1/2026 of the same date for Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical), (Telecom) and (Civil). The two documents are almost identical in their rules, which is why we treat them together. A single online application through the common portal covers the Electrical and Civil vacancies of all five utilities, and the candidate lists preferences for the utilities and zones. Mechanical and Electronics vacancies of APGENCO are filled through a separate examination, as the APGENCO notification says in its paragraph 3.

Utility AEE vacancies notified Source and note
APTRANSCO 200 As reported in newspaper and association listings; the official notification was not opened
APGENCO 100 Official: Electrical 52, Mechanical 21, Electronics 7, Civil 20
APSPDCL 135 Official: Electrical 125, Civil 6, Telecom 4
APCPDCL 60 As reported; not opened in full
APEPDCL 135 As reported; not opened in full

The utilities' figures add to 630. A government statement reported on 6 October 2026 refers to 629 posts, and some listings give 134 for APSPDCL. The official APSPDCL notification we opened gives 125 plus 6 plus 4, which is 135, so we cannot explain the difference of one post. We state both and do not choose between them. Every notification also says that vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease.

The APSPDCL table shows how the Presidential Order split works on the ground: for Electrical, 6 open (local and non-local) posts, 118 local posts and one backlog post for a woman candidate in the OC category. In APGENCO the Electrical count of 52 splits into 5 open and 47 local posts.

APGENCO's vacancies are spread across six zones, and generating stations belong to zones, as the table below shows (counts from the zone-wise vacancy table of the notification).

Zone Districts (as printed) Electrical Mechanical Electronics Civil Total
1 Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli 0 0 0 0 0
2 ASR district, East Godavari, Kakinada, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Polavaram 22 9 4 8 43
3 West Godavari, Eluru, NTR, Krishna 12 6 2 2 22
4 Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla, Prakasam, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Markapuram 1 1 0 2 4
5 Tirupati, Chittoor, Annamayya, YSR Kadapa 11 3 1 3 18
6 Nandyala, Ananthapuram, Kurnool, Sri Sathya Sai 6 2 0 5 13

The table shows something many aspirants miss: Zone 1 had no APGENCO vacancy at all, and Zone 2 carried 43 of the 100. Local status therefore decides a great deal.

Eligibility, age, fee and pay

The following rules are printed in both notifications and are valid for that cycle. A future cycle may change them.

  • Age. Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years as on 01.07.2026. The maximum is 47 years for SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates and 52 years for persons with benchmark disabilities.
  • Qualification, APGENCO. B.E, B.Tech or A.M.I.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for the Electrical branch, in Mechanical Engineering for the Mechanical branch, in Civil Engineering for the Civil branch, and in Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Control, Power Electronics, Computer Science or Computer Science and Information Technology or equivalent for the Electronics branch, held on the date of issue of the notification.
  • Qualification, APSPDCL. A degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering; in Telecommunications, Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering; or in Civil Engineering, from a university in India recognised by the relevant rules, held on the date of issue of the notification.
  • Degree validity. Degrees in distance mode from study centres of other state universities outside Andhra Pradesh are stated to be not legally valid, and only degrees from institutions recognised by the UGC and AICTE are considered.
  • Fee. Rs 1,000 as an application fee for processing and conducting the common recruitment test, paid through the payment gateway, with no refund. A journal number issued after payment only confirms the fee, not the completion of the application.
  • Probation and pay. Two years of probation on duty within a continuous period of three years, with a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 75,000 during probation. After successful probation the candidate comes under the time scale of Rs 86,245 rising to Rs 2,08,915 under the revised pay scale 2022, with allowances. The APGENCO notice lists project allowances for thermal stations of Rs 19,550, hydel stations of Rs 21,360, Sileru complex of Rs 31,580, and projects under construction of Rs 21,050, plus shift allowance Rs 5,410, conveyance Rs 1,375 and hotline allowance Rs 42,110, all subject to revision.
  • Service bond. The notification requires a service bond on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 110 to serve for a minimum of five years after the probation period, with the original degree, date of birth and community certificates deposited during the bond period. Leaving during probation attracts a refund of emoluments plus Rs 5,00,000 as liquidated damages, and resigning before five years after probation attracts Rs 10,00,000. Read this clause before you apply, because it is stricter than most state recruitments.
  • Induction. APGENCO states a three-month induction training at its training institute at Dr. NTTPS, with posting orders after successful completion.

Application mechanics

The registration used an OTP sent to an Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and the same number received all messages. A candidate uploaded a recent photograph and signature and the certificates before the last date. The notification states that the hall ticket would not be generated unless certificates were uploaded. Persons already in government or public service had to inform their head of office and furnish a No Objection Certificate. Candidates from other states are considered only under the general (unreserved) category.

The computer-based test

Pattern

The common test is a computer-based test in English only, of three hours, with a distribution of 100 marks, and the notification states that there is no negative marking.

Section Marks
Core subject of the branch 70
General Intelligence and Reasoning 5
General Awareness 7
English Language and Comprehension 5
Quantitative Aptitude 8
Computer Knowledge 5
Total 100

The minimum qualifying marks are 40 per cent for OC and EWS, 35 per cent for BC and 30 per cent for SC, ST and persons with benchmark disabilities. Normalisation is stated to apply to the AEE posts, but the notice we opened did not show the formula in readable text, so we do not describe it. An initial key is published after the test, objections are invited online, and a final key follows. A merit list equal to the number of vacancies, in a 1:1 ratio, is prepared following reservation, and those candidates are called for certificate verification. Ties are broken by age, with the older candidate ranked higher, and then by the earlier date of acquiring the qualification. There is no waiting list.

The test was spread across centres in 47 cities in Andhra Pradesh and five outside the state, in Hyderabad, Khammam, Bengaluru, Chennai and Berhampur. A newspaper report opened for this guide states that the test was held from 23 to 27 August 2026, although the notification had announced 22 to 29 August. The notification itself warns that sessions may be increased or reduced depending on the number of applicants.

Syllabus

The syllabus printed in the notice is described as suggestive and indicative. The core part differs by branch. For the Electrical branch it covers electric circuits, electrical machines, power systems, utilisation and control systems, measurements, analog and digital electronics, and power electronics and drives. For the Telecom branch of the discom notice it covers network analysis, Fourier series, electronic devices and circuits and digital circuits among other topics. For Civil it covers strength of materials, reinforced concrete, soil mechanics, steel structures, fluid mechanics and machinery, and foundation engineering. The notice also lists the common syllabus: reasoning including analogies, series, coding-decoding and Venn diagrams; general awareness including India and neighbouring countries in history, culture, geography and economy; quantitative aptitude at the 10+2 level; English including grammar, comprehension, cloze and sentence rearrangement; and computer knowledge covering hardware, Windows and Office, internet and email, networking and cyber security.

Worked examples for the Electrical core

Numerical practice beats reading for this paper. Try these until the steps are automatic.

Power factor and apparent power. A load draws 100 kW at a power factor of 0.8 lagging. Apparent power is 100 divided by 0.8, which is 125 kVA, and reactive power is the square root of (125 squared minus 100 squared), which is 75 kVAr. The exam trap is to divide by the wrong factor or to confuse kW with kVA.

Power factor correction. To raise that load to unity power factor, a capacitor bank must supply the full 75 kVAr. To raise it only to 0.95 lagging, the remaining reactive power is 100 times tan of the angle for 0.95, about 32.9 kVAr, so the capacitor must supply about 42.1 kVAr.

Transformer efficiency. A transformer is most efficient at the load where copper loss equals iron loss. If iron loss is 1 kW and full-load copper loss is 4 kW, the load fraction for maximum efficiency is the square root of 1 over 4, which is 0.5, so the transformer is most efficient at half load.

Synchronous speed. A 50 Hz machine with 4 poles runs at a synchronous speed of 120 times 50 divided by 4, which is 1,500 rpm. If an induction motor of that type runs at 1,440 rpm, the slip is (1500 minus 1440) divided by 1500, which is 0.04, or 4 per cent.

Per-unit values. If the base is 100 MVA and 11 kV, an impedance of 0.2 per unit on a 50 MVA base becomes 0.4 per unit on the 100 MVA base, because per-unit impedance scales with the ratio of the new base MVA to the old one.

Series RLC resonance. With L equal to 10 mH and C equal to 10 microfarad, resonance occurs at 1 over 2 pi times the square root of LC, about 503 Hz.

For the general part, give each section its own daily slice. Reasoning (5 marks), English (5), General Awareness (7), Quantitative Aptitude (8) and Computer Knowledge (5) together carry 30 of 100 marks, which is the margin between the cut-off and a high rank for many candidates.

Allotment, local status and reservation

The recruitment follows the spirit of the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organization of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 2025, which replaced the 1975 order, together with G.O.Ms.No.45 of the General Administration (SPF and MC) Department dated 20.04.2026. In practice, 5 per cent of the posts are open to local and non-local candidates, and 95 per cent are for local candidates of the zone. Open candidates are chosen on state-wide merit and allotted to zones according to the preferences they gave, but the APGENCO notice says that these preferences are indicative and are not binding.

A candidate who migrated from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh between 2 June 2014 and 1 June 2024 is treated as local at the place of residence under G.O.Ms.No.161 dated 27.12.2022, and must produce a local status certificate at verification. Study certificates or residence certificates are used to claim local status, and a residence certificate is not accepted for someone who studied up to Class VII in an institution. Our guide to local status and the reservation roster explains these terms with examples.

Reservation follows vertical reservations for SC (Groups I, II and III), ST, BC (A to E) and EWS, plus horizontal reservation of 33 and one-third per cent for women and 4 per cent for persons with benchmark disabilities, according to the Government Orders cited in the notice. An EWS certificate must have been issued within one year before the date of notification.

A simple allotment example helps. Suppose a candidate ranks high and lists APTRANSCO first, an APSPDCL zone second and APGENCO third. The merit list is first built across all five utilities, and then the allotment takes each candidate in order of merit and gives the highest-preferred utility and zone that still has a vacancy for that candidate's category. Once allotted, the notification says, a change of utility or zone is not ordinarily entertained. The lesson is to think about where you are willing to live for the next several years before you tick the preference list, because the preference list cannot be changed after submission.

AE and AEE: sorting out the names

In everyday talk, "Assistant Engineer" and "Assistant Executive Engineer" are used loosely. The 2026 utility notifications recruit Assistant Executive Engineers. A different recruiter, the Public Service Commission, advertises Assistant Engineer posts in water resources, rural water supply and Panchayat Raj, mostly civil. Our guide on APPSC Assistant Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical) compares the two paths and shows why an electrical graduate should watch the power utilities rather than wait for a commission notice. The AP engineering jobs guide for B.Tech, diploma and ITI holders lays out every branch in one table, and the APPSC AEE civil guide covers the civil route.

For diploma holders, the position is different. The APEPDCL careers page lists a Junior Engineer (Telecom and IT wings) recruitment whose examination was held on 22 June 2025, with the final key and results published. That post is not an AEE post, and we did not open the notification for it, so use it only as evidence that the discoms do recruit junior-level engineers on their own schedule.

Junior Lineman (Energy Assistant)

What is verified now

As on October 2026 there is no open Junior Lineman notification that we could confirm. A newspaper report dated 6 October 2026 quotes the state's Energy Minister as saying that after the 629 assistant engineer posts are filled, steps would be taken to fill the vacant lineman posts, with the approval of the Chief Minister. The report gave no number and no timeline. The same report says that around 6,500 to 7,000 personnel from the village secretariats were absorbed into the power sector to address shortages, and that is not the same thing as lineman recruitment.

A figure of 1,711 Junior Lineman posts circulates in education news pages. We could not open the page that carries it, and we found no official document stating it. Treat the number as unverified and expect it to change.

What the last full notification looked like

The most detailed official document we could read is the APSPDCL notification of 2019 for Energy Assistants (Junior Linemen Grade-II), a copy of which was hosted by a job-listing portal. It is seven years old, and the next notification may differ in every respect, but it shows how this post has been filled.

Item APSPDCL notification, August 2019
Posts 5,107 Energy Assistants for village and ward secretariats across eight circles
Candidates Eligible male candidates, 18 to 35 years as on 01.07.2019, with relaxation of up to 5 years for SC, ST and BC
Qualification SSC plus ITI in Electrical or Wireman trade, or an intermediate vocational course in electrical trades
Pay Rs 15,000 per month consolidated for two years
Selection 80 marks for SSC marks and up to 20 for service as a contract worker in the discoms; practical tests in pole climbing, meter reading and cycling; no interview
Applications 2 August to 17 August 2019

Several features are worth understanding. First, the selection was not a written examination. The merit score used SSC marks and contract service, at one mark per completed six months. Second, the practical tests were pass-fail: only candidates who passed pole climbing, meter reading and cycling were considered, and then the merit order decided. Third, candidates were called for the tests in a ratio of 1:3 on merit. Fourth, local rules were applied district-wise, with a first part of 20 per cent for local and non-local candidates together and a second part of 80 per cent for local candidates only.

If a 2026 or 2027 notification repeats this structure, preparation means ITI or vocational marks, fitness and safe climbing technique, and clean paperwork. If it adds a written test, the notice will say so, and we cannot predict its pattern. We have not seen any official Junior Lineman exam pattern for the coming cycle, and we do not quote one.

Sensible preparation without guessing

  • Keep the ITI or vocational marks memo, trade certificate and SSC memo in good order, because earlier merit used SSC marks.
  • Maintain fitness. A lineman climbs poles and towers, and the earlier notice made climbing a qualifying test.
  • Learn the safety basics that the work itself demands: isolation of lines, earthing, personal protective equipment and permit-to-work practice. These are practical subjects for the job whether or not a test examines them.
  • Keep contract or outsourcing service certificates from the discoms if you have worked in them, because the earlier merit formula counted such service.

Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator

We could not verify any recent notification for this post at APGENCO, APTRANSCO, APSPDCL, APEPDCL or APCPDCL. Searches returned only the AEE notices, and results about similarly named posts belonged to the Public Service Commission and revenue offices, which are different recruiters. So there is no exam pattern, age limit or vacancy that we can give you, and we will not guess.

What we can offer is a way to prepare sensibly. The utilities describe computer proficiency in the AEE notification as basics of computer organisation, memory and input-output devices, Windows and Microsoft Office, web browsing and email, and networking and cyber security. If a clerical post appears, expect the notice to define its own scheme. Meanwhile, build typing speed and spreadsheet skills, because those are useful in any computer-operator role. For posts in other departments that use a similar name, our guides to the municipal Junior Assistant and the High Court Assistant show how those recruiters work, but do not carry their patterns over to the power utilities.

How to read an AP power utility notification

  1. Find the issuer. The notification is issued in the name of one utility, even when the examination is common. Open the PDF on that utility's own website.
  2. Check the common portal. The AEE applications went through the common portal, and the utilities' home pages carried the links for scores.
  3. Look at the vacancy table by zone and category. The open and local split decides your chances.
  4. Read the bond clause. It can bind you for years and carries large liquidated damages.
  5. Note the qualification date. In the AEE notice the degree had to be held on the date of issue of the notification.
  6. Check the fee, the age date and the examination cities before you pay.
  7. Never rely on forwarded messages. The APSPDCL careers page itself warns about fake appointment orders.

Preparing for the next AEE cycle

The next cycle's date is unknown, so a plan based on weeks and not on dates is safer. The plan below assumes a B.E or B.Tech in Electrical.

  • Weeks 1 and 2: circuits and network theorems, with 40 numericals.
  • Weeks 3 and 4: transformers and DC machines, including efficiency, regulation and starting.
  • Weeks 5 and 6: induction and synchronous machines, then power systems basics, including per-unit values, faults and protection.
  • Week 7: measurements and analog electronics.
  • Week 8: digital electronics, microprocessor basics and power electronics.
  • Week 9: control systems and utilisation.
  • Week 10: the 30-mark general section: reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, computer knowledge and general awareness.
  • Weeks 11 and 12: timed three-hour mocks with error analysis, because there is no negative marking, so every question deserves an attempt.

Because the notification states no negative marking, the strategy differs from many commission tests: attempt all 100 questions. Keep an error log with four labels (concept gap, formula slip, unit error, reading mistake) and count them after every mock. For general awareness on Andhra Pradesh, see the current affairs study guide and the top 100 AP GK questions.

Exam traps and common mistakes

  • Waiting for a notification that has not appeared. There is no verified Junior Lineman or Junior Assistant notification as on October 2026.
  • Quoting an old number as current. The 5,107 figure belongs to 2019, and 1,711 is unverified.
  • Ignoring the bond. It forms part of the contract.
  • Mixing AE and AEE. The commission and the utilities recruit different posts under similar names.
  • Forgetting local status. Ninety-five per cent of the AEE vacancies were local.
  • Assuming negative marking. The utilities' test had none, unlike many commission papers.
  • Paying agents. No genuine notification asks for money outside the stated fee.
  • Counting on preference lists. Preferences cannot be changed once submitted.

Key facts for exams

  • APGENCO Notification No. 01/CGM (Adm, IS&ERP)/2026 is dated 25.06.2026.

  • AEE age limit: 18 to 42 as on 01.07.2026, with 47 for SC, ST, BC and EWS and 52 for persons with benchmark disabilities.
  • Fee: Rs 1,000, non-refundable.
  • Computer-based test: 100 marks, three hours, English only, no negative marking; core 70 marks.
  • Section marks: reasoning 5, general awareness 7, English 5, quantitative aptitude 8, computer knowledge 5.
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 40 per cent OC and EWS, 35 per cent BC, 30 per cent SC, ST and PwBD.
  • Probation: two years, with Rs 75,000 consolidated per month; service bond of five years after probation.
  • A common examination covers Electrical and Civil posts of five utilities; APGENCO's Mechanical and Electronics posts have a separate examination.
  • APGENCO AEE vacancies: Electrical 52, Mechanical 21, Electronics 7, Civil 20; APSPDCL: Electrical 125, Civil 6, Telecom 4.
  • The 2019 APSPDCL Junior Lineman notice tested pole climbing, meter reading and cycling, with no interview.

Frequently asked questions

Is any power utility notification open now? As on October 2026 the AEE window has closed. We could not verify an open Junior Lineman or Junior Assistant notification. A board-level Director post at APGENCO was open until 12.10.2026, but it is not an entry route.

Is the Junior Lineman exam date announced? No. A minister's statement reported on 6 October 2026 said that lineman posts would follow the engineer recruitment, without a date.

What was the Junior Lineman selection method last time? In the 2019 APSPDCL notice, merit on SSC marks plus a pole-climbing, meter-reading and cycling test, with no interview. Future methods may differ.

Can a diploma holder apply for AEE? The AEE notices we read required a B.E, B.Tech or equivalent degree.

Can I change my utility preference later? No. The notifications say the preferences exercised at the time of application are final.

Is the bond mandatory? The notification states a service bond for five years after probation, with liquidated damages for early exit, and the original certificates stay with the utility during the bond period.

Where do I check results? The common recruitment portal and the utilities' own websites carried the score links as on the date of writing.

  • APGENCO, Notification No. 01/CGM (Adm, IS&ERP)/2026 dated 25.06.2026 (29-page PDF on apgenco.gov.in), read in full.
  • APGENCO recruitment page (apgenco.gov.in): list of notifications including the AEE notice and the Director (Finance and Commercial) notice dated 21.09.2026.
  • APSPDCL, Notification No. 1/2026 dated 25.06.2026 (PDF on apspdcl.in), read in part: vacancies, age, qualifications, pay, syllabus headings, bond.
  • APSPDCL home page and careers page (apspdcl.in): AEE results link and the awareness alert about fake notices.
  • APCPDCL home page (apcpdcl.in): link to AP Vidyut Recruitment 2026 scores.
  • APEPDCL home page and careers page (apeasternpower.com): AEE notification, scores link and the Junior Engineer (Telecom and IT) result entry.
  • APTRANSCO home and careers pages (aptransco.gov.in): opened, but they showed no recruitment content to us.
  • AP Vidyut common recruitment portal (apvidyutrecruitment.apcfss.in): opened, and the page showed only its title.
  • Deccan Chronicle report on the release of AEE scores and the plan for the merit list.
  • The Hans India report of 6 October 2026 quoting the state's Energy Minister on lineman posts.
  • Copy of the APSPDCL Energy Assistants (Junior Linemen Grade-II) notification of August 2019, hosted by a job-listing portal, read for the historical comparison.

Not verified: the APTRANSCO, APCPDCL and APEPDCL vacancy figures from the official notifications themselves (200, 60 and 135 are from news and association listings), the normalisation formula, the exact dates of the score publication, the 629 versus 630 difference, the 1,711 Junior Lineman figure, any Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator notification, and the district coverage of APEPDCL and APCPDCL. Always rely on the notification of the utility that you apply to.
