NEW DELHI, October 4 — Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), the world's leading fertilizer cooperative, has commenced online applications for the recruitment of Agriculture Graduate Trainees (AGT) for 2026 across its extensive pan-India network of regional offices and field operations.
Eligible candidates must possess a full-time 4-year B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree from UGC/ICAR recognized universities with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST). The upper age ceiling is 30 years as of the cutoff date, with standard age relaxation for reserved categories. The multi-tiered evaluation comprises a preliminary remote-proctored online exam, a supervised final computer-based test at designated national test centres, and a personal interview. The registration deadline is October 14, 2026.
Trainees will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹33,300 during the one-year training term. Upon successful completion, candidates will be absorbed into the regular pay scale of ₹37,000–₹70,000 as Field Officers, spearheading agricultural extension and modern nano-fertilizer adoption among farming communities.
Cooperative movements, agriculture extension services, and agricultural input dynamics are core topics in NABARD Grade A, IBPS AFO, and UPSC agricultural economy syllabi. Candidates should note that IFFCO was founded on November 3, 1967 as a Multi-State Cooperative Society and successfully pioneered commercial nano liquid urea and nano DAP in India.
