NEW DELHI, August 7 — The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted its progress report on the NEET-UG paper leak case on Friday, revealing that solvers and exam experts relied on memory and chits to transmit leaked questions.
According to investigative sources, the question papers were accessed from a digital trunk lockbox before the scheduled exam start time. The experts then memorised segments of the paper and compiled key answers on chits to distribute them to select candidates at designated centres. The agency has arrested three more individuals linked to the logistical operations of the leak.
The CBI continues to run investigations across multiple states to identify the main planners behind the network.
