MUMBAI, October 5 — The Headquarters Coast Guard Region (West), Mumbai, functioning under the Ministry of Defence, has officially invited applications from eligible citizens for recruitment to various Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) civilian posts across its shore establishments and naval dockyards (Notification No. CGRHQ(WEST)/01/2026).
Notified positions include Store Keeper Grade-II, Engine Driver (Ordinary Grade), Lascar (1st Class), Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade), and Multi-Tasking Staff (Peon/Chowkidar). Eligible applicants possessing 10th standard passes, 10+2 diplomas, or trade ITI certificates can submit prescribed offline applications via registered or speed post up to November 3, 2026. The age limit spans 18 to 27 years with statutory upper age relaxations for reserved categories.
The evaluation process comprises an objective written test assessing General Knowledge, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and Trade Theory, followed by trade/driving tests and document verification.
