How to apply

Register once on OTPR at psc.ap.gov.in (see the OTPR registration guide), then submit the online application between 18 November and 8 December 2026. The detailed notification is due before the window opens; read it for the subject-wise posts, the exact qualification per post, the fee and the age relaxations before you pay.

Read the official notification first. Facts that change with each notification (posts, dates, fee, age) are taken only from it.

Exam pattern

The brief notification says only that selection is through a single-level online test (CBRT) with no screening test, with normalisation if it runs in several sessions. Paper names, question counts and the syllabus come with the detailed notification. In the 2018 cycle the scheme was a General Studies and Mental Ability paper plus a subject paper that included teacher-education content; expect something similar but do not plan on it until the scheme is published.

Prepare with Pareeksha

Start the General Studies and Mental Ability paper now, with fixed-paper mocks where every candidate sits the same paper and the percentile is real, and keep the pedagogy and teacher-education revision from DSC preparation warm. See the AP DSC guide, the DSC psychology and pedagogy guide and the APPSC Junior Lecturer guide. Start from the Andhra Pradesh exam list.
