How to apply
Register once on OTPR at psc.ap.gov.in (see the OTPR registration guide), then submit the online application between 2 and 22 November 2026. The detailed notification is due before the window opens; read it for the fee, age relaxations and the exact degree equivalents accepted for each code before you pay.
Read the official notification first. Facts that change with each notification (posts, dates, fee, age) are taken only from it.
Exam pattern (reported from the brief notification)
Single-level computer-based test, no screening test. Paper I General Studies and Mental Ability (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes); Paper II and Paper III on the concerned engineering subject (150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes each); 450 marks in all. One-third negative marking. Marks are normalised if the test runs in several sessions. Confirm the scheme and the syllabus in the detailed notification.
Prepare with Pareeksha
Paper I is the same General Studies and Mental Ability paper that every APPSC single-level test uses, so start it now with fixed-paper mocks where every candidate sits the same paper and the percentile is real. See the AEE Civil guide, the AE Electrical and Mechanical guide and the AP power-utility JLM and AE recruitment guide. Start from the Andhra Pradesh exam list.
