Cover the crop-map legend and identify the four association anchors: coastal Krishna paddy, Guntur chilli, southern inland groundnut and Chittoor mango. Then cover the water map and match Prakasam Barrage and Nagarjuna Sagar with Krishna, Polavaram with Godavari, and Handri Neeva with the Srisailam-linked southern route. The river and structure associations are stronger exam anchors than an undated acreage number.
Use the maps as memory devices with limits. A dot gives an approximate place, not an annual cultivated polygon; a schematic arrow shows a conceptual project link, not a surveyed canal alignment. APSAC climatic-zone and river layers are available for more detailed geographic study, but different layer vintages must be reconciled before overlaying with today's districts. When unsure, identify whether a question is about crop presence, concentration, water source, project location or current administrative boundary.
Worked example: Cover both agriculture maps. Redraw two crop anchors and two river-project pairs, then explain why the icon or headworks marker cannot outline all fields. Give one example of the same crop appearing in multiple seasons or districts. If a current statistic is needed, name the official dataset and crop year rather than reusing a timeless classroom sketch.
Active recall: State one reason each that a crop pin and a project arrow cannot be treated as surveyed field boundaries.
