FIDE's event reports identify Koneru Humpy as women's World Rapid champion in 2019 and again in 2024. Rapid chess has a faster time control than classical chess; blitz is another, faster format. Two rapid titles do not automatically make the player the classical women's world champion in those years. The championship title and its clock format must appear together on a revision card.
One FIDE biography uses a season or following-year label for the 2019–20 circuit, which could mislead a hurried reader into saying the event was held in 2020. The dedicated 2019 championship report is the event-level source. Likewise, the 2024 title belongs to a separate later championship. Compare Humpy with Harika Dronavalli by person and result: both are grandmasters, but the two cited women's World Rapid crowns in this chapter are Humpy's.
Worked example: FIDE reports Humpy as women's World Rapid champion in 2019 and again in 2024. A candidate might accidentally call these two classical world titles. Write time control and event beside each year. A rapid championship can have a different format and field from the classical world championship; 'world champion' without a format loses the key distinction.
Active recall: State the two calendar years and the chess time control of Humpy's verified world titles.
