Divide the last review into four rounds. In the first, write athlete–sport–event pairs without looking: Sindhu/WS, Srikanth/MS, Rankireddy–Shetty/MD, Malleswari/weightlifting, Humpy and Harika/chess, Jyothi/100m hurdles. In the second, add dated outcomes: Sydney 2000 bronze, Rio 2016 silver, Basel 2019 gold, Tokyo 2020 bronze, Humpy's 2019 and 2024 rapid titles. In the third, match Khel Ratna, Arjuna, Dronacharya, Dhyan Chand lifetime and Padma awards by category.
In the fourth round, use the real AP locator map and name only the association the symbol encodes. If a question gives too little detail for a “first,” supply the missing qualifier before answering. The 60 questions following these chapters are original practice, not claimed previous-year questions. Mark each miss as a person error, event error, year error, award-category error or geography error. Revisit that one category the next day instead of rereading the entire book passively.
Worked example: For a timed mixed set, underline person, discipline, competition, edition and regional qualifier. Make a one-line evidence note for each answer: BWF result, FIDE record, World Athletics profile, ministry award list or AP policy order. Correct every error by naming the missing qualifier. Repeat the set after one day without the answer key to test durable recall.
Active recall: In one minute, write the six athlete–event pairs and then correct one false first of your own making.
Five checks before answering

The five checks are person, discipline, competition, year and regional claim. A first also needs all category qualifiers.
