If you live around Vijayawada, Machilipatnam, Guntur, Narasaraopet or Bapatla, most of the government jobs you will ever apply for are decided by three things that have little to do with your marks: the district your school years are tied to, the zone that district belongs to, and the notice board where the vacancy is actually published. This guide puts those three things together for the five districts that make up the Amaravati capital region in everyday speech: NTR, Krishna, Guntur, Palnadu and Bapatla.
It is written for an aspirant who already knows the names APPSC and DSC but wants to know which recruiter hires in this region, how local status works for a candidate from here, where district-level notices appear, which cities hosted recent examinations, and how to prepare with the region in mind. Every time-sensitive statement is labelled "As on October 2026" with its source. Where a fact could not be confirmed from an official page, the text says so, and the last section lists what remained unverified.
As on October 2026: the main open recruitments that touch this region are the APPSC detailed notifications of 6 October 2026 (Group-I, Horticulture Officer and Assistant Environmental Engineer, applications 6 to 27 October 2026), the APSLPRB notifications of 16 September 2026 (application dates not yet announced on the Board's page), and the High Court's Civil Judge (Junior Division) notification dated 25 September 2026. No DSC 2026 notification was visible on cse.ap.gov.in. Sources: psc.ap.gov.in, slprb.ap.gov.in, aphc.gov.in, cse.ap.gov.in.
What "capital region" means here
There is no single legal definition of the capital region that fits every purpose, and that is the first trap. The Capital Region Development Authority has its own notified area, which is a planning boundary and not a recruitment unit. For jobs, what counts is the district, because every cadre rule is written in terms of districts, zones and multi-zones. This guide therefore takes the five districts below and treats Amaravati as a place inside that map, not as a separate unit.
| District | Headquarters | Mandals on district portal | Zone in the 2025 Order | Multi-zone |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NTR | Vijayawada | 20 | Zone III | Multi-Zone I |
| Krishna | Machilipatnam | 26 | Zone III | Multi-Zone I |
| Guntur | Guntur | 18 | Zone IV | Multi-Zone II |
| Palnadu | Narasaraopet | 28 | Zone IV | Multi-Zone II |
| Bapatla | Bapatla | 25 | Zone IV | Multi-Zone II |
The mandal counts are the figures shown on each district's official portal in October 2026. They are useful as a sanity check and not as something to memorise, because portals are updated at different speeds. The headquarters and the zone mapping come from the APPSC and SLPRB notifications described later, which print the zone lists in full.
The most important line in the table is the last two columns. The capital region is split across two zones and two multi-zones. NTR and Krishna sit in Zone III together with West Godavari and Eluru, inside Multi-Zone I. Guntur, Palnadu and Bapatla sit in Zone IV together with Prakasam and Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, inside Multi-Zone II. A candidate from Vijayawada and a candidate from Guntur, who may live 35 kilometres apart, therefore compete in different local pools for many senior posts. We come back to this with worked examples in the section on local status.
How these five districts came to exist
The Guntur district portal says the district was constituted on 1 October 1904 from parts of the older Krishna and Nellore districts. The Bapatla portal quotes Gazette No. 939 dated 26 January 2022, under which the old Guntur district was divided into three: Guntur with 18 mandals, Narasaraopet or Palnadu with 28 mandals, and Bapatla with 25 mandals. The Krishna portal says that the district was divided again in 2022, when the Krishna and NTR districts were separated, and that Machilipatnam is the headquarters. The NTR portal gives Vijayawada as its headquarters.
Two consequences follow for a job seeker. First, older certificates and older books use older names. A study certificate issued in 2015 by a school in Bapatla or Chirala says Guntur district, because that was the district at the time, while the same school today stands in Bapatla district. Second, notifications that reuse the 13-district structure, such as the 2025 Mega DSC district tables, still show Guntur and Krishna as the old larger districts. Read the header of every vacancy table before comparing numbers.
For a fuller list of all 28 districts and the places that moved between them, see the AP district-wise fact sheet.
Amaravati as capital: what changed and what did not
The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014 said that Hyderabad would be the common capital for no more than ten years and that there would be a new capital for the successor State, without naming it. The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, Bill No. 105 of 2026 in the Lok Sabha, amends section 5(2) so that it reads "Amaravati shall be the new capital". A new Explanation says that Amaravati includes the capital city areas notified under the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority Act, 2014. The bill is to be deemed in force from 2 June 2024. Its statement of objects records that the Legislative Assembly passed a resolution on 28 March 2026 asking for the change. The PRS Legislative Research record shows the bill moving through both Houses in the first days of April 2026, and our post on the Reorganisation Act gives the assent date.
For an aspirant the change matters in three practical ways and not in a fourth.
- It settles the exam answer. A question that asks which city is the capital of Andhra Pradesh now has a statutory answer, and a question about the common capital period has a precise end date, 2 June 2024.
- It explains why so many State-level offices are concentrated here. The High Court's own website gives its address as Nelapadu, Amaravati, in Guntur district, pin code 522239. Commissions, the Secretariat and heads of departments cluster in and around Vijayawada and Amaravati.
- It affects which posts are local-cadre posts at all. The Presidential Order of 2025, as reported, exempts the Secretariat, offices of heads of departments, special offices, State-level offices and institutions, and police posts in the capital Commissionerate from local reservation. A Deccan Chronicle report on the cadre-strength order says the guidelines do not apply to the State Secretariat, heads-of-department officials, All India Services, judiciary posts and public sector undertakings. Many capital-region jobs are therefore State-cadre posts open to candidates from every district.
- It does not change local status. Living in or near Amaravati does not make you local to a capital zone. Local status is decided by where you studied or lived during Classes I to VII, not by where the office sits.
Who recruits in the region
A useful way to organise your attention is by recruiter, because each recruiter publishes on a different site and follows different rules. The table lists those that matter most for a candidate from these five districts.
| Recruiter | What it hires for | Where it publishes | Local rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| APPSC | Group-I to Group-IV services, lecturers, engineers, officers | psc.ap.gov.in | Multi-zone, zone or State cadre per post |
| APSLPRB | Constables, SIs, firemen, warders, FSL posts | slprb.ap.gov.in | District, contiguous district or zone |
| School Education (DSC/TRT) | SGT, School Assistant, TGT, PGT, PET | cse.ap.gov.in and the TET-DSC portal | District cadre |
| District Collectorates and DCHS | Paramedical, contract and outsourced posts | District portals, notices, recruitment | District |
| High Court and district judiciary | Civil Judge, staff, typists, copyists | aphc.gov.in | District or State by post |
| Universities | Assistant Professors, non-teaching staff | University websites; APPSC for the 2026 round | Per notice |
| Central bodies and PSUs | Faculty, technical, clerical, operations | Each body's own website | National or regional |
The rest of this guide takes each in turn.
APPSC: the State commission that now thinks in zones
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is based in Vijayawada, and its detailed Group-I notification for 2026 is signed from there. As on October 2026, the Commission lists these live recruitments with online applications from 6 October to 27 October 2026: Group-I Services (Notification 07/2026), Assistant Environmental Engineer in the Pollution Control Board (08/2026, 41 vacancies including one carried forward) and Horticulture Officer (19/2026, 37 vacancies in a zonal cadre). A web note of 15 September 2026 lists many more brief notifications with tentative application windows between 9 October and 5 November 2026, including Assistant Statistical Officer, Forest Section Officer, Forest Beat Officer and Executive Officer Grade-III. Brief notifications are provisional; the detailed notification and its annexure are what bind.
Group-I shows how the region fits the new map. The detailed notification of 6 October 2026 lists 166 vacancies. Thirteen post codes are in the list, and all except DSP (Communications) are local-cadre posts. Most are organised into two multi-zones, and the Assistant Audit Officer post is organised into six zones. The break-up below is computed by adding the open and local rows in Annexure I.
| Post | Multi-Zone I (includes NTR, Krishna) | Multi-Zone II (includes Guntur, Palnadu, Bapatla) |
|---|---|---|
| Deputy Collector | 6 | 6 |
| Assistant Commissioner, State Tax | 9 | 5 |
| DSP (Civil) | 17 | 19 |
| District Educational Officer | 7 | 7 |
| Deputy Registrar | 9 | 7 |
| Municipal Commissioner Grade-II | 4 | 8 |
| Divisional Development Officer | 16 | 19 |
For the zonal Assistant Audit Officer post, the annexure shows Zone III with no vacancy and Zone IV with two. So a Vijayawada candidate has no zonal vacancy in this post, while a Guntur candidate has two shared with Prakasam and Nellore candidates. The Horticulture Officer notification (19/2026) is another zonal example: of its 37 vacancies, computed by adding the open and local rows of its annexure, Zone III has 7 and Zone IV has 7. The practical point is not the number itself but the habit it teaches: before ranking a post as your first choice, read the row for your own multi-zone or zone.
The screening test is scheduled for 24 January 2027 in offline OMR mode. It can be taken at any of 26 district centres, and the candidate gives three preferences. The Mains is a descriptive examination at four centres only: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Ananthapuramu. A capital-region candidate will almost always choose Vijayawada for the Mains, and the choice is final unless the Commission changes it. Our full reading of the notification is in the APPSC Group 1 2026 post.
The Commission also issued a web note on 29 September 2026 asking every applicant to update the One Time Profile Registration from 30 September 2026, because the profile now records district, zone and multi-zone status from study or residence particulars. Do this before any application, and see the OTPR update and the registration guide.
A further item is relevant to graduates of the universities in this region. A web note of 5 October 2026 schedules the computer-based screening test for Assistant Professors in various universities, as notified by 19 universities of the State, and for Lecturers in the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, from 1 to 5 December 2026, with each subject on a fixed day. The note lists the subjects day by day. If you hold a postgraduate degree and intend to teach, read it and your university's own notification together.
APSLPRB: police recruitment by district and zone
The State Level Police Recruitment Board, whose notification header gives Mangalagiri in Guntur district as its address, published recruitment notifications on 16 and 17 September 2026. As on October 2026 the Board's Recruitments page lists them with the application-period column empty, so no application window has been announced. Our police recruitment post reads the notifications in detail.
The district-wise table in Rc.No.91/SLPRB/Rect.2/2026 is the most useful local document for this region, because it shows how many direct-recruitment vacancies the Board has assigned to each of your districts. The figures are provisional and may change.
| District | Civil constable DR | AR constable DR | Fireman DR | Civil constable LR |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NTR (shown as NTR City) | 44 | 39 | 20 | 0 |
| Krishna | 28 | 17 | 10 | 1 |
| Guntur | 28 | 14 | 10 | 1 |
| Palnadu | 26 | 10 | 4 | 0 |
| Bapatla | 17 | 8 | 5 | 0 |
| Five districts together | 143 | 88 | 49 | 2 |
Out of the State totals of 542 civil constable, 285 AR constable and 158 fireman direct-recruitment vacancies, these five districts hold 143, 88 and 49. The NTR figure is the largest of any district for both constable posts. LR means limited recruitment of backlog posts, and the notification says those posts are filled only with local candidates of the respective revenue district. DR vacancies include special categories and, for civil constables, 75 percent of posts in the scheduled areas, which do not apply to these five districts.
Sub Inspector posts use zones. In Rc.No.81/SLPRB/Rect.1/2026, civil SI vacancies are 39 for Zone III and 48 for Zone IV, and reserve SI vacancies are 10 for Zone III and 38 for Zone IV. Zone IV has the largest allocation of both in the State. The same notification lists the zones district by district, which confirms the mapping used in this guide. Warders are organised into contiguous district cadres in Rc.91; check the table for the cadre that contains your district before you assume a number.
School education: DSC, TRT and the district cadre
DSC stands for District Selection Committee, and the name survived even though the process is now coordinated centrally. The last full recruitment was the Mega DSC 2025, Notification 01 dated 20 April 2025. Its district-wise tables were drawn on the older 13-district structure, so the Guntur and Krishna rows covered what are now five districts. For Secondary Grade Teacher, School Assistant and Physical Education posts in government, Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishad schools, the Guntur row showed 895 posts and the Krishna row 1,095, against 2,547 for Kurnool. Those are numbers for the old districts and cannot be split among the new ones without the department's own table.
As on October 2026, no DSC 2026 notification was visible on cse.ap.gov.in or the AP TET to DSC portal, and the latest official TET material is the APTET June 2026 notification. Reports name a mid-October date, which is an expectation and not an announcement. The DSC 2026 status post and the exam pattern post explain what to expect, and the structure below is worth remembering.
- Teaching posts at school level are district-cadre posts, so local status is about your district and the 95:5 rule applies to the district cadre when the notification says so.
- The Mega DSC 2025 notification said the computer-based test would be conducted in district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions and mandals, and that candidates would sit at the allotted centre.
- Candidates can usually choose their district in the application, and that choice shapes both your competition and your cut-off.
District-level recruitment and the district portals
This is the least understood source of government work in the region. Each district has an official portal at the address pattern district-name.ap.gov.in with a Notices section and a Recruitment category. Hospitals, medical colleges, women and child welfare units, one-stop centres and other district offices post contract and outsourced vacancies there, often for a window of one to two weeks. The names on these notices can mislead: "DSC" on a health notice means a District Selection Committee for that department, not the school teacher recruitment.
What the portals showed on 7 October 2026 for this region is below.
| District portal | Recruitment page status on 7 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| NTR | One notice from the District Coordinator of Hospitals Services, dated 22 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, which says publication of the final merit list waits for the Presidential Order 2025 process or orders lifting the freeze on recruitment |
| Krishna | No current notice; archive available |
| Guntur | No current notice on the recruitment page |
| Palnadu | No current notice; archive available |
| Bapatla | The recruitment page address returned an error; the homepage showed no notices |
The NTR notice is instructive. It tells a candidate that selection at the district level can stall behind the cadre restructuring that the Presidential Order requires. A report on G.O.Ms.No.46 dated 6 July 2026 said the government had directed all departments to submit proposals for allocating posts to districts and had paused new posts, promotions and transfers until local cadre allocation finished. That report was read in a newspaper summary and the order was not opened in full. The safe reading is practical: for any district-level post, read the notice for a clause about merit lists, freezes or later orders, and keep your documents ready for the day the process resumes.
A second practical habit is to check both the active page and the archive. Notices that were open last month often move to the archive link, where final merit lists and speaking orders stay for months. Because archived lists show cut-offs by category, they are also the nearest thing to evidence about how competitive a district-level post was. Copy the details of any list you study, with its date.
The High Court and the judiciary
The High Court of Andhra Pradesh sits at Nelapadu in Amaravati, and its recruitment page is the authoritative source for judicial and staff recruitment. As on October 2026 the page for 2026 lists, among others, the following: an online application for 119 posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division) under Notification No.118/2026 dated 25 September 2026, posted on 1 October 2026; a direct recruitment notification for 10 posts of District Judge (Entry Level) on 30 September 2026; 30 posts of District Judge through the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, also on 30 September 2026; and 16 posts of Civil Judge (Senior Division) through the same type of examination on 17 September 2026. The page also lists a Stage-I written examination for the post of Assistant Editor on 4 October 2026. The closing date for the Civil Judge application was not visible on the page that was opened, so read the notification.
District court staff such as Junior Assistants, Typists and Copyists are recruited by the High Court for the district judiciary and are district-cadre posts with their own local rule, explained in the High Court assistant post. The earlier notifications described there applied an 80:20 split under the older rules, and a candidate should check which rule the current notification applies. Judicial service recruitment itself is covered in the Civil Judge and prosecutor guide.
Central bodies, PSUs and institutions in the region
Government employment here is not only State-level. The following were checked on official pages, and each is described only as far as the page allows.
- AIIMS Mangalagiri. Its website gives the address as the AIIMS campus at Mangalagiri, Guntur district, pin code 522503. The homepage ticker, as read, mentioned faculty screening, non-faculty Group-A closing dates and technologist and contractual advertisements. It gave no usable dates, so check its recruitment page directly.
- South Coast Railway. The new zone began operations on 1 June 2026 with headquarters at Visakhapatnam. Its portal lists four divisions: Guntakal, Guntur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. The Vijayawada and Guntur divisions therefore now belong to South Coast Railway. Railway group recruitment is run through the Railway Recruitment Boards and not by a division, so follow the RRB notice for your post.
- APGENCO. The Dr. Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station is at Ibrahimpatnam in NTR district, according to the corporation's website, which also hosts the recruitment page. On 7 October 2026 that page showed Director posts, with a notification dated 21 September 2026 and a last date of 12 October 2026, and Assistant Executive Engineer posts. For the range of engineering posts, see the power utilities post.
- Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University. The university's website gives its administrative office at Lam, Guntur, pin code 522034, with a link for applications and walk-in interviews. For agriculture posts at the State level, see the agriculture officer post.
- State universities and health university. Acharya Nagarjuna University, Krishna University and the NTR University of Health Sciences publish their own recruitment notices, and the APPSC computer-based test of December 2026 covers Assistant Professor posts notified by 19 universities of the State. Their locations are general knowledge, and their sites either did not open or returned little content during checking, so confirm each notice on the university's own site.
Verify before you plan around any of these. A central body's vacancy is national, so there is no 95:5 rule, and the competition is wider than the five districts.
Local status and the 95:5 rule, with worked examples
Article 371-D lets the President provide for equitable opportunities in public employment in parts of the State. Until December 2025 the instrument was the Andhra Pradesh Public Employment (Organisation of Local Cadres and Regulation of Direct Recruitment) Order, 1975. The Presidential Order of 15 December 2025 superseded it and lists 26 districts in six zones and two multi-zones. The Commission's notifications apply it through G.O.Ms.No.45 dated 20 April 2026. Our local status and reservation post explains the whole structure, and only the points that matter for this region are repeated here.
The Group-I notification states that 95 percent of the posts go to local candidates of each multi-zone or zone, and that the provisional list is divided into a 5 percent part on a combined merit list of local and non-local candidates and a 95 percent part on local candidates only. A candidate is local to the area where he or she studied for at least four consecutive academic years before and including the Class VII year. If the candidate did not study in an institution during those years, residence counts. If neither gives an answer, the area where the candidate studied the longest in those seven years is taken. Study certificates from Class I to VII, or a residence certificate from an officer not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer, are required.
Posts are organised in levels. As the sibling post explains, district cadres cover Junior Assistant and below and school teachers, zonal cadres cover posts above Junior Assistant up to Superintendent, and multi-zonal cadres cover higher posts up to Deputy Collector or equivalent. Two districts, Markapuram and Polavaram, were notified after the Order was made and are not in the zone lists; neither is in the capital region.
Worked example 1. Lakshmi studied Classes I to V in a school in Tiruvuru and Classes VI and VII in Vijayawada. Both fall in NTR district, which is in Zone III and Multi-Zone I. She is local to NTR for a district-cadre post, to Zone III for a zonal post and to Multi-Zone I for Group-I posts organised into multi-zones.
Worked example 2. Ravi studied Classes I to III in Tenali and Classes IV to VII in Vijayawada. In the four consecutive years up to Class VII he was in NTR district, so he is local to NTR and therefore to Zone III and Multi-Zone I, even though he was born in Guntur district. His Class I to III certificates from Tenali must still be produced, as the notification asks for the whole period.
Worked example 3. Anitha lived in Narasaraopet and did not attend a recognised institution for Classes I to VII, because she was home-schooled. She needs a residence certificate from a revenue officer of the rank the notification states, and she would be local to Palnadu, Zone IV and Multi-Zone II. The OTPR will ask for those particulars.
Worked example 4. Karthik studied three years in Machilipatnam and four years in Bapatla, with Class VII in Bapatla. The four consecutive years up to Class VII are in Bapatla district, so he is local to Bapatla, Zone IV and Multi-Zone II, even though he spent three early years in Krishna district.
Candidates who migrated from Telangana between 2 June 2014 and 1 June 2024 need a Local Status Certificate in the format the notification prescribes. A candidate who cannot show local status in any area of the State is treated as non-local, and a non-local candidate competes only in the 5 percent combined list.
Remember also that the exempt posts, such as Secretariat and State-level office posts, do not use this rule. The notification for your post states which rule applies.
Examination centres and travel
Candidates from this region are well served by centres. The Group-I notification lists all 26 district centres for the screening test, including Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Palnadu and Bapatla, and a candidate gives three preferences. The same notification fixes only four Mains centres, and Vijayawada is the one in this region. The Horticulture Officer notification schedules its computer-based test at the same four centres. For the Mega DSC 2025, the notification said the computer-based test would be conducted in district headquarters, municipalities, revenue divisions and mandals.
The practical lessons are these. First, choose your three centre preferences by travel time to the venue and not by the name of the city, because the Commission may allot any centre. Second, plan for the Mains in Vijayawada early, because a descriptive paper over several days needs a place to stay if you live in Palnadu or Bapatla. Third, reach the city the evening before, since OMR rules are strict about reporting time.
Institutions that shape preparation in the region
An aspirant here lives near some of the State's most important public institutions, and several of them are examination topics in their own right. The High Court at Amaravati, AIIMS Mangalagiri, the Prakasam Barrage on the Krishna at Vijayawada, Machilipatnam's port and the Gannavaram aerodrome in Krishna district appear in the district portals and the district fact sheet. Guntur's chilli trade, Palnadu's limestone and cement belt and the Nagarjuna Sagar setting, and Bapatla's coastline of 74 kilometres, also show up in geography questions. See the geography notes on rivers, districts and ports, the rivers and dams notes and the science and technology institutions post.
The practical benefit is simple: a local anchor helps you remember a static fact. Link each district to one institution, one river feature and one trade, and then test yourself with district-based questions.
A preparation approach for a capital-region candidate
Preparation depends on which recruitments you target, but the sequence is the same.
- Fix your local pool first. Write down, from your own certificates, the district for each year from Class I to VII. Then write your zone and multi-zone. This takes one evening and changes which notices are worth your time.
- Create or update the OTPR. The Commission asked for updates from 30 September 2026, and a mismatch between certificates and profile is a common cause of trouble.
- Choose two anchor exams. For example, one APPSC post and one APSLPRB post, or one APPSC post and DSC. Spread-out preparation across six exams rarely works.
- Build the common core. General studies, Andhra Pradesh history and polity, geography, economy and current affairs support nearly every exam. The government exams guide and the jobs calendar show how exams overlap.
- Study the region as a case. Keep a one-page sheet for each district: headquarters, parent district, mandals on the portal, zone, one institution, one river or coast fact.
- Practise under exam conditions. Negative marking and time pressure decide results in OMR and computer-based tests. Read negative marking and mock strategy.
- Check the portals weekly. Open psc.ap.gov.in, slprb.ap.gov.in, cse.ap.gov.in, aphc.gov.in and your own district portal for ten minutes once a week, and save the PDF of every notification you intend to use.
If you work or study while preparing, the government job without coaching post gives a study-hours framework that fits a commute from a small town to Vijayawada or Guntur.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Assuming that living in the capital makes you local to a capital zone. Local status comes from Classes I to VII.
- Treating the two multi-zones as one pool. A Group-I candidate from Vijayawada competes in Multi-Zone I, and one from Guntur in Multi-Zone II.
- Using a 2025 district table to estimate 2026 vacancies. The Mega DSC tables used the old Guntur and Krishna units.
- Ignoring district notices because they look small. Contract posts at hospitals and colleges are a legitimate first step into service, but check whether they are on a merit list freeze.
- Applying through an agent or a link in a message. Official portals end in gov.in or the organisation's own domain, and APPSC's own notice tells candidates not to rely on unverified information.
- Leaving certificates to the last day. Study certificates from Class I to VII take time to collect.

Frequently asked questions
Is Amaravati a separate zone for jobs? No. The six zones and two multi-zones in the Presidential Order, 2025 are made of districts. Amaravati lies within Guntur district for administrative address purposes, as the High Court's own address shows.
I studied in Vijayawada but my family is from Guntur district. Which zone am I local to? Local status follows where you studied for the four consecutive years up to and including Class VII, or residence if you did not study. If those years were in NTR district, you are local to Zone III and Multi-Zone I.
Can a candidate from the capital region apply for posts in other zones? Yes, but for posts reserved by zone or multi-zone, a candidate who is not local competes only in the 5 percent combined list. A State-cadre post is open to all.
Where are district-level hospital and health vacancies published? On the district portal's Notices section under Recruitment, and in the department's own notices. The NTR District Coordinator of Hospitals Services notice of 22 July 2026 is an example.
Which exam centres can I choose for APPSC Group-I? The screening test is held at all district centres, including the five districts here, with three preferences. The Mains is at four centres, and Vijayawada is the one in this region.
Is there a DSC notification now? As on October 2026 none was visible on cse.ap.gov.in. Reports mention a mid-October date, which is only an expectation.
Do central government jobs in the region carry local reservation? No. Central bodies recruit nationally or regionally under their own rules.
What if a portal and a newspaper disagree? Rely on the notification PDF on the official site and, for district boundaries, on the Gazette.
