Full reservoir level is a reference water level; gross capacity at FRL is a design/storage figure. Live storage is the portion available above minimum drawdown level under project definitions; current storage is a dated measurement. APWRIMS places these in separate fields. A percent full depends on the denominator used.
A reservoir may show the same capacity but a lower current storage on another date. Read the table heading and timestamp before repeating any figure. This book favours river and spatial relations for durable recall.
Worked example: Full reservoir level is a reference elevation, not a storage volume. Gross storage includes water that may not be usable, while live storage is the operationally available component above the dead-storage level under normal definitions. A question can give a water level in metres and capacity in TMC; those are different quantities. Read the official reservoir table headings before comparing two projects numerically.
Active recall: Locate the named river or project on the relevant map, name its function, and state which facts need a dated source.
